F.A.Q. Question: What is FAXsv? Answer: FAXsv it’s a free Internet fax service, providing our customers with the ability to receive fax messages by Email. Question: Does it really free? Answer: We don’t charge our customers at all. Of course there is a cost to send a fax from a fax device, but we don’t gain any profit from there. Question: Do I have to subscribe? Answer: No, you don’t. The service is absolutely disposable. Question: Can I also send a fax to analog fax machine through this service? Answer: Currently is not available. Question: Why am I asked to enter the fax number beside of the Email address? Answer: We don’t provide a unique fax number to our customers, so in order to recognize which fax should go to which email we compares between incoming fax number and the number, which has been entered by the customer. When there is a matching, the system knows where to pass the fax message. Question: Can I send a fax from analog fax device to someone’s Email address? Answer: Yes, of course. You can input different email address each time you’re using our service and we don’t care by whom the information has been entered, by sender, by receiver or by somebody else. Question: OK, the fax was sent, but I don’t see it in my mail box, why? Answer: The most common reason is that your Anti Spam tool has mistakenly marked our EMAIL as Spam. Please check your Trash, Junk or etc' boxes, probably you’ll find it there. The second reason is mistakes in your Email address or the fax number. Rarely, especially when the fax is sent through some corporate fax switching board, the number which is given you by the fax sender is not a fax number the our system sees. In this case at least the Caller ID should be configured correctly. Question: During which period the fax should be sent after the information has been entered? Answer: Usually 24 hours. Question: Do you keep my info in your database? Answer: No, when the fax is sent, your fax and your record are deleted. So you want use the system again, you should go to our web site and fill the form again. |
